#2 Will Laura be resurrected?

Easter made it clear that she can’t resurrect Laura because a God ordered her murder deflating any plans Laura had of stopping her decomposing corpse from falling apart. What is Laura to do if her only chance at being alive again is gone? Her body will continue to rot, and she already has a swarm of flies around her.

Plus, she took a warm bath, and Mad Sweeney said that it would surely speed up the decomposition. It won’t take long for her to become a lifeless body and Mr. Jaquel is just waiting for the chance to escort her back to the afterlife where she will be guaranteed an unfortunate ever after.

There are some ways that Laura could continue in this next season. She could find a way to force Easter to resurrect her. The only way I see this happening is if Laura was to convince Odin to tell Easter to revive her. And by convince, I mean bribe.

Odin tried to kill Laura because he knew that her marriage to Moon would stop Moon from following Odin. He needed Moon to lose it all to make certain that he would join Odin in collecting Gods. But what if Laura could guarantee Moon’s further involvement in exchange for a little resurrection and a body that isn’t prone to worms?

Another way Laura could be revived is if Mad Sweeney helps her find another God to help her. Sweeney doesn’t look too optimistic after Easter turns down the opportunity to give Laura a new body, so maybe he doesn’t know anyone else who has Easter’s powers. But if Laura really feels desperate, she may want to ask Salim to get his Jinn to grant her wish of resurrection. However, this would lead Laura on another goose chase, and it looks like her time is limited since her body is in pieces.

The only other option Laura has is to help Moon succeed and then die. Moon appearing as a gold beacon in Laura’s eyes must mean that she is tied to him in ways that are beyond their marital ties. It is likely that she may have to help him and eventually die returning the gold coin keeping her alive to Mad Sweeney.
