Good Girls Season 2, Episode 2 pushed the plotline forward and showed just how stressed Beth really is. Here are the five major takeaways from the episode.

Beth isn’t coping that well. If you thought she was holding it all together well, Good Girls Season 2, Episode 2 proves you wrong. In fact, during the episode, she completely snaps after lying to everyone around her — literally, everyone!

And she’s not the only one lying or reaching breaking point. Ruby is fed up of Stan not appreciating the bank robbery activities — well, you can see why he wouldn’t — and Annie and Greg had their own problems. Here’s a look at the five major takeaways from “Slow Down, Children at Play.”

5. Ruby and Stan attempt to make amends

We open on my favorite couple of the series at church and it’s clear they’re trying to make things work. Without giving too much away, Stan and Ruby make it sound like Ruby has had an affair. Well, it’s slightly better than what she’s really been up to and, in a way, she has been cheating.

However, Stan still can’t get over the lying. Ruby finally reaches breaking point in her relationship. Had it not been for Ruby’s actions, their daughter would still be on the waiting list for a kidney. Well, she wouldn’t even be on the waiting list! The horrible American healthcare system puts money before saving lives and a payment was needed to even put their daughter on the waiting list.

So, Ruby’s actions literally saved their daughter’s life. It’s not surprising that Ruby snapped considering this is something Stan has forgotten.

By the end, the two seem to be on the steps to repair their relationship. With everything he’s done now to save Ruby and her friends, I hope she’ll now trust him.

And she’s not the only one who has a husband who could be on side.
