2. Will Hynek and Quinn continue working together?

It would appear Hynek and Quinn might finally be back on the same page together. They’ve experienced more strange incidents and encounters than any one person could handle and Quinn has clearly accepted the idea “we are not alone.” He even has his own experience in the skies trying to bring down the aircrafts terrorizing Washington.

To his great surprise, Hynek contradicts everything in a conference with the government and instead claims the incident was a naturally occurring one. But his greater plan is make everyone believe he and Quinn aren’t threats to national security. This way they can continue on at Blue Book and remain privy to top secret information. It’s the perfect set-up for season two and will essentially allow the show to function the same way it did this season.

1. Are the aliens coming?

It would certainly seem so, wouldn’t it? Though I doubt it’ll be any time soon and I still think the show will veer away from anything too far in the field of science fiction. The beacon we saw at the end of the episode was a pretty serious twist though. What exactly is its function? What does it mean for the show moving forward? Will we see even more real events? Will we ever learn more about the weird brainwashing project and video that have recurred through the season?

Most of the cases Blue Book dealt with this season were hoaxes or easily explained away by actual scientific fact, I wonder if that will change as we move into season two.
