Ramsay Bolton

Time of Death: Season 6, Episode 9 “Battle of the Bastards”

Cause of Death: Chomped to bits by a pack of his own starving dogs.

Valar Morghulis: Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) was the absolute worst of all time. He was a twisted mind whose resume included hunting and killing his sexual conquests, torturing and castrating his captives, murdering his father in cold blood, and raping and beating his own wife. And that’s just page one.

So after viewers cringed their way through several seasons of Ramsay’s sadistic f*ckery, his imminent death was a fitting comeuppance and a pure joy to watch. After all, Ramsay took immense pleasure in torturing his victims, so why couldn’t the tables be turned when it was his turn to go? While Jon Snow was the one who took Ramsay down via blows to the head at the conclusion of the Battle of the Bastards, he kindly saved the good stuff for his sister Sansa.

Ramsay’s final moments were short but oh-so sweet. Sansa presided over her husband’s death, waiting and watching as his hounds circled for a sweaty snack. We watched with baited breath as a stoic mutt climbed onto his master’s lap, took a big, slobbery lick, and then dug in with glee. If you didn’t smile as Ramsay screamed, well, you might just be a monster yourself.

Game of Thrones returns to HBO for its final season on April 14th.
