NBC has offered good news for Good Girls fans. Good Girls Season 3 is officially happening.

As Good Girls Season 2 starts its final string of episodes, NBC has offered some excellent news. Good Girls Season 3 is officially happening.

There was some worry about the fate of the series. After all, the ratings haven’t been great — although good for a Sunday — and I’ve been concerned that NBC wouldn’t give this show another chance. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. And the news came much earlier than I thought.

More from NBC

Due to the arrangement with Netflix, both internationally and domestically, I expected NBC to hold off on making a decision until the summer. Once the second season finale airs, we should see the series drop on Netflix outside the United States. It was this digital release that proved the show was worth keeping. While fans don’t tune in live, they do watch on-demand.

It looks like NBC is already happy with how on-demand viewing is doing and has full hope that the second season will perform well on Netflix. The renewal has come ahead of the final four episodes of the season, which means there’s no need to worry about a possible cliffhanger ending.

If you haven’t checked out Good Girls yet, get on Netflix right now. You will binge-watch the first season and immediately need more. It all starts with three women who need some quick cash. What better way than robbing a grocery store? It all looks like it goes off without a hitch until they realize that they’re actually in trouble with a local gang.
