4. Dean has a plan of his own

At the end of Good Girls Season 2, Episode 6, Dean had taken up self-defense and decided to make small talk with the trainer. He’s killed people, right?

Well, this guy certainly knows someone who can take care of the Rio problem. Despite knowing that he could end up in a lot of trouble, Dean would rather risk it all than get a divorce. He admits that he can’t live without Beth, and it certainly shows another side to the character.

Dean decides to pull Stan into the plan. Why not get a cop on side, especially one that has taken risks to protect Ruby?

In the end, Dean decided to pick up the number to call the cousin of the trainer. Will Rio end up dead or will this cause more problems for the family?

3. Beth’s children aren’t getting along with the change

The whole household has changed. Not only is Beth now the one at work and Dean the one at home, but Beth is out of the house the majority of the time. The kids barely see her.

It’s clear that Beth wants it all. She leaves them notes before she leaves and she burns the candle at both ends to make sure all businesses run smoothly and the Book Club board (which is actually the dates of the drops) is updated. However, that doesn’t mean everyone is happy.

Janey leaves a note for Beth because she wants to see her mom. After years of mom being there, Janey isn’t getting on with the change of dad doing everything. Children may be adaptable but that doesn’t mean they have to like this change.

Rather than Janey being taken by the drug dealers (because there’s no money in that, according to Rio), she had run away. But she couldn’t cross the street, so she ran away and hid in Beth’s closet. I love that we got this innocence, while all the adults were terrified that something bad had happened to her.
