#4 The White Walker spiral

This scene has been the talk of the week and rightfully so. It’s a huge WTF moment that raises numerous questions. In the scene, Eddison, Beric, and Tormund stumble across the body of Ned Umber, who is hanging on a wall, impaled through his chest. Even stranger, he is surrounded by limbs shaped in a spiral that seems to have a symbolic purpose. It’s hard to say why, but theories are already building online over what this could possibly mean.

Also, to add to the bizarre sight, Ned Umber comes to life as a White Walker screaming–and making the rest of us viewers lose all bladder function. The sequence was mysterious as well as terrifying.

#5 Bran and Jaime lock eyes–and have a moment

A little earlier in the episode, Bran told Samwell that he was quietly waiting for an old friend. As the episode came to a close we see Jaime arrive in Winterfell by horse and he seems tired and sluggish. As he gets off the animal, he looks over and his face seems extremely shocked by the presence of Bran.

It makes sense to some degree why Jaime is shocked, he is the one who pushed Bran out of the window. That said, the WTF aspect is why Bran is waiting for him. What are his plans for Jaime? Does he have vengeful motives for making him disabled? It’s a cliffhanger that is killing most fans who are wanting to know what that finale stare-off was about.
