11. James (last week’s ranking: 8)

Lisa Vanderpump eventually summons James to meet with after he sent 23 texts to her about trying to revive See You Next Tuesday. Lisa reminds him, again, that he doesn’t work there anymore, but he points out that Katie and the girls haven’t been occupying the space.

James begins whining and begging like a kid who has been put in timeout. He, again, admits that he had a few beers to drink when asked by Lisa and I throw the remote through my ceiling in exasperation.

It was like, three episodes ago where Lisa had admonished him that he cannot drink. Look, I respect the dude’s hustle but how thick can you be. If you want to work at SUR again, Lisa is giving you the goddamn answer key! Just stop drinking dude!

After this revelation, Lisa tells him in no uncertain terms that he will not be DJing here, so he needs to move on. My guess is that he is not going to move on and just keep harassing Lisa hoping she’ll feel sorry for him.

Later on, Lala calls him over to try and patch up their relationship, on Lisa’s request. She appears to be making a very sincere effort, but James is just the most petulant child ever. He refuses to make eye contact with Lala or engage with her because he “finds it hard to make eye contact with someone he hasn’t spoken within a year.”

James, can you one time be the bigger person? I get that Lala has abandoned you in a time of need and she’s gone back on her word to you before, but his behavior is just douchey.

He says that he doesn’t think that he can ever be friends with Lala because Lala is a different person and she has broken his trust in the past. That is a fair point, but maybe you should tell Lala that. Be the bigger person, tell her that you can’t trust her and maybe in time she’ll earn your trust back and maybe rebuild the friendship, but don’t be this passive-aggressive diva.
