Avengers: Endgame is now playing in theaters and breaking both box office records and audience’s hearts. Fans love the movie, but many have one big problem with it.

Spoiler Alert! Haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame in theaters just yet? Step away! Major, huge, life-changing spoilers are ahead. Seriously, you will ruin the movie for yourself if you read the below.

I don’t know about you, but to me, Avengers: Endgame is perfection on film. I mean, sure, it has a flaw or two, and I wish some events had not gone the way they did. Overall, though, part of the journey is the end and everything happened the way it was supposed to. It has been one amazing ride and though I’m crushed by the movie’s main death, Endgame brings this era to a marvelous close that will be forever remembered and cherished.

Having said all of that, I do have one major problem with Avengers: Endgame. Final spoiler warning! You’ve been warned.

More from Marvel Movies

As much as I love Tony Stark aka Iron Man, I accept his heroic death. It wasn’t easy! I have been feeling all sorts of emotions since watching the advanced screener — from anger to denial. However, I love how Marvel did the character justice by giving him an amazing exit and skipping the post-credit scenes in his honor.

My problem with Avengers: Endgame comes way before this final, heartbreaking scene: Yes, I’m talking about Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow’s unfair and untimely death.

Endgame is all about the Original Six, which are Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, Thor, Clint Barton, and Natasha Romanoff. The focus was all about them, how much they have grown, and their big exit from the franchise. Well, it’s about most of the OG 6.

Thor gets to see and have a heart-to-heart conversation with his mother, Frigga. Bruce, in his own words, gets “the best of both worlds” as both Hulk and Bruce. Steve Rogers apparently lives a long and happy life with Peggy Carter. And Tony gets closure and heals some wounds having a sweet moment with his dad, Howard. And even though Tony does die, he passes knowing they are successful. Tony knows Thanos is dead, Peter Parker and the others are back, Pepper and Morgan will be just fine. He can rest in peace knowing all of this.

Natasha, however? Not so much. She sacrifices herself to get the Soul Stone and therefore did not get to live to see the end. As an Original 6 and the only female OG, Nat more than deserved to be in the final battle. She’s in the 3 hour movie for a grand total of 33 minutes, guys (according to this account), come on!

In that amazing quick scene that features all of the female heroes (including Pepper Potts, Valkyrie, Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Okoye, and even EVEN Mantis) teaming up is way too cool, but sad and disappointing at the same time. Why? Natasha should have been part of the group. No. She should have been leading that group.

As far as I’m concerned, Black Widow is the Queen of the MCU.
