4. Dean finally steps up

I actually had some respect for Dean during this episode. After taking the kids to his mom’s, he would have found it easy to put all the blame on Beth. Instead, he put the blame on himself.

After all, we know that none of this would have happened had Dean not been a terrible husband, father, and businessman. He was the one that put them into so many financial issues and he’s been in denial since.

In the promo, it looked like he was going to put all the blame on Beth. And I’ll admit that I was annoyed at that. However, he stepped up. He took the blame and understood why Beth did what she did. Now she’s getting out of it all and he’s willing to go back home to her.

Well, for now.

3. Beth is trying to get out

As mentioned, Beth is attempting to get out of the crime business. She has one last fling with Rio before handing over his cut and declaring that she’s out of it all.

Is this really going to happen? We’ve seen her attempt to get out before and Rio or something keeps pulling her back in. I get the feeling that she doesn’t even really want to get out. There’s a thrill that she’s after, even if it is lonely at the top.

In the Good Girls Season 2 finale, I think we’ll see the ending delivers her a reason to get back in. That’s if she’s not been arrested first!
