5 top takeaways from Good Girls Season 2, Episode 9
2. Agent Turner really doesn’t follow the rules
When Agent Turner started questioning Stan, it was clear he’s not a man who is willing to play by the rules. Stan should have been offered a lawyer and the interview should have been recorded. However, neither of those things clearly happened.
We could see there was no lawyer present, but what makes me think it wasn’t recorded? Agent Turner had no issue in telling Stan that he had no proof that Stan stole the pen cap or that he’d find someone willing to tattle on Stan. It’s clear that Turner is grasping at straws right now.
It irritates me that Turner is willing to do this. Okay, Ruby and co. did rob the grocery store. They are the ones who dumped Boomer’s body. And Stan did definitely steal that pen cap.
This whole situation makes me wonder how far Turner is willing to go. How dirty will he play?
1. Annie is acting stupid
Finally, we get to Annie’s storyline. It’s the most important takeaway of all as it’s clearly going to set up the Good Girls Season 2 finale ending. I reckon we’ll see one of the women (if not all of them) arrested and it’ll be because of Annie.
After Greg made it clear that Noah is a bad guy, Annie decides to slow things down with him. That leads to him coming out with a new lie: how he stole money from his last job. And it’s clear that Annie is willing to share her story.
But I don’t get why she would unless she has absolutely no brains. Telling your spouse is one thing. I could even understand if Annie told Greg the full truth. But telling your new boyfriend? She doesn’t even know Noah. Even if we didn’t know he’s an undercover cop, I’d still question her sanity right now.
This isn’t going to go down well. Annie needs to think because she speaks!
