If you thought Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 3 was depressing, that was only the beginning! Here are all the characters who died in the latest episode!

Who dies in Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 4? We have your official weekly death toll report here. Spoiler Alert: Spoilers are ahead if you have yet to see tonight’s all-new episode! Seriously, these are huge spoilers that will ruin the series for you (death spoilers, obviously).

Before getting into the latest deaths, let’s quickly recap the death toll so far this season: Episode 1 and Episode 2 were fairly calm, funny even. Episode 3, “The Longest Night,” brought the first tears of the season with the deaths of Theon, Lyanna, and Jorah, among others. But tonight’s deaths hurt even more.

The pain of tonight’s deaths isn’t unexpected. As we get closer to the final episode, we are all expecting bigger characters to die. Here are the names of everyone who died in Episode 4:

Let’s be honest, Daenerys was never going to make it to the end of the series with all three dragons. I don’t even think her last dragon will be alive much dragon. That said, Rhaegal’s death wasn’t surprising, but I am shocked how easy it was to kill him. How did Daenerys not see it coming so high in the air? And how did Euron load up the arrows so quickly?

The death that hurt the most, though, is Missandei’s. Yes, we should have seen this one coming — and we did! I though surely Missandei and/or Grey Worm would die in “The Long Night” after that perfect set up of the two promising to run off together. But since they both made it out alive, I forgot all about them.

The quick list:

  • Missandei
  • Rhaegal
