4. Will Dylan be expelled?

Ava gets to use her hacking skills to un-submit Dylan’s cheat file. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. Someone re-submits the file to his instructor, who loves it, and enters him into a prestigious contest. The main suspect is Dana Booker, who seems to allude to doing the deed when she tries to blackmail Dylan.

Dana wants Dylan to fess up and tell her where Ali, Caitlin and Ava were on the night of Nolan’s death. If he does, she can give him an airtight alibi and make this whole plagiarism thing go away. It doesn’t work out as she plans.

Instead, Dylan works with Mona, Ali, Caitlin, and Ava to extort Dana by taping her admitting to falsifying evidence. But if they go through with this and get Dana kicked out, then Dylan is back to square one. He may get expelled if she confesses to cheating on his exam. I doubt that will happen given he is a main character, but I also don’t think he’s going to get out of this easily.

3. Are Ava and Zach going to date?

#Zava might be a new item. Ava is smitten with Zach, she admits this to Caitlin when the two share a sweet scene together, one where Caitlin tells Ava about her relationship with Jeremy and about her mom having an affair.

The only thing holding Ava back from pursuing Zach are her lingering feelings for Nolan. We’re treated to a few cute flashback scenes between the couple. Nolan did have another side to him, one that was charming and easy to love.

Initially Ava backslides into her old drinking habits before realizing she needs to move on from Nolan. He would want her to be happy. In her final scene, she’s sitting with Zach, make of that what you will.
