When we last left Max, he was covered in blood with a shocked look on his face. Bloom was just about to hand in her permanent resignation but that’s going to have to wait. Max’s wife is having the baby but there’s far too much blood and it’s not possible for the ambulance to arrive on time. Max is going to have to make one of the most impossible choices in the world.

You can only find out by watching tonight’s episode live. It’s not going to be easy viewing and you’ll find yourself shouting at the TV screen, but I also get the feeling that this is going to be the wakeup call that Max needs to fight this cancer.
Chemo is killing him and Sharpe has agreed to look for another way to save his life. However, he needs to be in this. I’m guessing the shock of losing both wife and baby is going to be exactly what he needs to ensure he survives this battle.
