It’s time to continue the story of the arsonist from the last episode. Here’s how to watch Chicago Fire Season 7, Episode 21 live.

Can you believe we’re onto the penultimate episode of Chicago Fire Season 7? Fortunately, we have an eighth season to look forward to, but that doesn’t stop us from being a little sad that soon we’ll have no new episodes for a few months. But before we despair, let’s look at what to expect in Episode 21, titled “The White Whale.”

This episode will see a continuation of where the last episode left us. After a fire at a salon is linked to arson, Severide gets all the details. He immediately feels like he’s seen it before, but this case has nothing to do with something Firehouse 51 has seen, which is why Casey doesn’t recognize it.

More from NBC

Severide realizes that Benny had been chasing this same arsonist for 15 years. It’s time for the son to find the man the father had been after. This will be something Severide can do for his father, hopefully, bringing an end to the guilt he feels deep down for Benny’s death earlier this season — even though he had nothing to do with Benny’s death.

I don’t expect this case to be finished during the episode. After all, next Wednesday is the Chicago Fire Season 7 finale. I have a feeling we’ll run into that episode with Severide and Kidd working together and finding their ways back to each other.

Meanwhile, Brett is going to have to question her own feelings for a certain Firehouse 51 captain. After her friend pointed out that Brett and Casey were perfect for each other, Brett tries to brush it off. It doesn’t matter if Casey was married to Brett’s best friend. The heart wants what the heart wants.
