Ranking all three Black Mirror Season 5 episodes from crazy to insane

2. “Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too”
I initially (based on the trailer alone) believed Miley Cyrus’ “Rachel, Jack, and Ashley Too” would be the least exciting. Boy, was I wrong! It is actually a very enjoyable and emotional episode.
Cyrus stars as Ashley, a beloved popstar who inspires others with her messages and songs of positivity. Everything about her and her life appears to be perfect, but is this who Ashley truly is? Far from it!
This isn’t to say Ashley isn’t a great person, she very much is. But she is beginning to grow tired of keeping up appearances and being perfect. She has her own song ideas and wants to branch out to other genres. In other words, Ashley is growing up and doesn’t want to be the a jolly popstar forever.
Sound familiar? Many Miley Cyrus fans believe this is similar to what the singer-actress truly went through during her days as Hannah Montana. If so, it’s very sad. But, at least, both Miley and Ashley have a happy ending.
Miley Cyrus is brilliant here, clearly having lived through something similar before. The episode is also exciting and we’re glad this season gives us something lighthearted.
