2. Missing

From 2006, Missing is something for all Downton Abbey and Liar fans. It stars Joanne Froggart as Sybil Foster, who becomes the prime suspect in a string of murders after she escapes a psychiatric hospital. Skeletons from her past are unearthed, and those secrets may just help to unravel the present day mysteries.

There are only two episodes to this mini-series, a little like The Poison Tree from the June releases. This one is based on Karin Alvtegen’s novel of the same name but you don’t need to read it to understand what’s going on. However, it’s certainly worth the read afterward.

1. London Kills Season 2

It’s time for the Acorn Original in July 2019. London Kills is back for a second season, with the same elite murder squad on a mission to solve a new case. There’s a new case to solve in each episode, whether it’s the skeletal remains in a garden or a pub landlord’s brutal murder.

However, Season 2 sees a mystery that DI David Bradford can’t seem to unravel. That’s the case of his missing wife, Sarah. It doesn’t help that the other detectives realize David is lying about that night Sarah disappeared. Is it possible that he’s the one that killed her and hid her body?

If you loved the first season, London Kills Season 2 promises to be something even bigger and better. With five episodes, it’s the perfect binge-watch for all.
