5. Man-Spider

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter Parker was tasked with saving New York from the threat of the Vulture (Michael Keaton), and in Spider-Man: Far From Home, he’s tasked with saving the world from the Elementals, which turnout to be an illusion created by Mysterio.

After saving his city, and the world, what if Peter Parker is tasked with saving himself?  Far From Home establishes that Spidey’s powers aren’t fully developed since he has issues with his Spider Senses. To flush that idea out in Spider-Man 3, his mutation could cause him a bigger problem in the form of Man-Spider.

Man-Spider is the final stage of Spider-Man’s genetic mutation where he turns into a monstrous anamorphic spider. Implementing that into MCU Peter Parker would be a first for the silver screen adaptation of that character.

With the comedic vibe of the previous pair of Spidey films, and their inspiration from 80’s and 90’s films, a Man-Spider storyline would more likely be comparable to Teen Wolf than American Werewolf in London. Either way, it would be an interesting take on the Spider-Man character that we have not seen before.

Since Sony can inject other Marvel characters into these films, this would be the perfect opportunity to include a cameo from everyone’s favorite scientist Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). In Avengers: Endgame, Hulk and Banner became one which could come to use while developing a cure for Peter’s mutation.

Having Man-Spider in Spider-Man 3 allows director Jon Watts to continue his streak of having a new big screen adaptation of Spider characters, which is something that President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige has been pushing for.
