Netflix’s Red Notice: Everything we know so far

Earlier this week, Netflix surprised us all with a very promising line-up of stars for their upcoming movie, Red Notice. Here’s everything we know about it so far.

Netflix continues to deliver quality content, yes even if The Office and Friends leave the streaming service soon. One of the things about Netflix we love most are their movies. Love them or not, Bird Box, I Am Mother, Murder Mystery, and several others have highly entertained us and all feature well-known stars in the game. Well, Netflix may have just kicked it up a notch with their upcoming movie, Red Notice.

Synopsis: The short movie description released is that the movie is an “international action thriller centered around the pursuit of the most wanted art thief in the world.” It may be too early for a more detailed synopsis, but synopses are usually the first bit of info to become known, so expect more soon!

The Cast: Gal Gadot, Dwayne Johnson, and Ryan Reynolds are the names we know of so far. Just like the synopsis, cast news are sure to surface here in the coming months.

Premiere date: There’s not debut date set just yet! However, we do know production begins early 2020. Knowing that, except the movie to drop on Netflix either late 2020 or early 2021. Red Notice will be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Skyscraper, Central Intelligence, We’re the Millers).

Dateline reveals this is one of Netflix’s biggest commitments, with a production budget already in the $130 million range, $20 million of which go to Dwayne Johnson, reportedly. Needless to say, this is going to be a huge movie, I have a lot of hope for it.
