WarnerMedia gives streaming service name, planned release date, and much more!
Rich and diverse Max Originals on WarnerMedia’s HBO Max
There are plans for plenty of original content. After all, the plan is to have 10,000 hours of programming available from the release of the streaming service. There have already been a number of shows and movies confirmed for the streaming service including:
- Dune: The Sisterhood, which is an adaptation on the novel by Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson, which was set in the world of Dune from Frank Herbert.
- Tokyo Vice, based on the non-fiction, first-hand accounts of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat by Jake Adelstein.
- The Flight Attendant starring Kaley Cuoco, based on the novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian.
- Love Life a romantic comedy starring and executive produced by Anna Kendrick.
- Gremlins animated TV series, based on the original 1980s movie.
- Lovecraft Country, a horror series based on Matt Ruff’s novel, with Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams executive producing.
- The Outsider based on the Stephen King novel, directed by Jason Bateman and starring Ben Mendelsohn.
- The Plot Against America, based on Phillip Roth’s novel, telling the story of reimagined history starring Winona Ryder and John Turturro.
For fans of great TV, both old and new, it looks like HBO Max is going to be the place to turn to.
