When does Catfish: The TV Show return with Season 8?

MTV’s Catfish: The TV Show has wrapped its 40-episode seventh season! When will Season 8 premiere?
Season 7 has been the biggest Catfish season the series has ever seen, and for more than one reason! For starters, Season 7 doubled up on the episodes. Seasons 4, 5, and 6 all include 20 episodes each, but the latest season featured 40. Season 7 is also co-host Max Joseph’s last season on the show. What did you think about the latest set of episodes?
Whether you’ve seen them all or are still catching up to them, it’ll be a while before we see more. When will Catfish return with Season 8?
Unfortunately, the reality series hasn’t even been officially renewed. But this doesn’t mean the series has been cancelled. We’ll likely learn more about it soon. The great news is that you won’t have to wait a year to watch a new season.

While most shows go away for a year before debuting a new season, Catfish only takes off for 6-7 months. Since Season 7 concluded in August 2019, it’s possible Season 8 will premiere sometime February 2020.
