2. Back Home

For those who like the foreign language additions, Back Home is the series to watch this month. The Italian drama has 12 episodes to stream in full. Alessio Boni stars as Gausto Morra, a family man who is involved in a car crash and ends up in a coma. He wakes five years later to find out everything has changed.

His business is on the verge of bankruptcy, his wife is in a relationship with his best friend, and his children are all grown. There are also elements of his life that he doesn’t remember, but he’s going to have to remember if he wants to come to terms with everything happening now and from his past.

1. Wreckers

Finally, it’s time for the fans of Claire Foy and Benedict Cumberbatch. The two star together in Wreckers. This is a movie rather than a TV show, but definitely something for all to check out on Acorn TV in September 2019.

The two play a married couple, David and Dawn, who move to David’s childhood village. Their dreams of starting a family are completely derailed when David’s brother starts exposing lies within the relationship just to ignite sibling rivalry.
