Now that Big Brother until next year, it’s time to take a look back at the season that was. Earlier, we took a look at the cast’s best moves. Now we are reflecting on the cast of Big Brother 21’s worst moves. The next person we will take a look at is Sam Smith.

Sam Smith was the last person to be evicted pre-jury in Big Brother 21. Despite not being in an official alliance for most of the game, Sam managed to stay safe until week 5. Sam won the first two Power of Veto Competitions of the season. After winning his first Power of Veto, he used it to save Cliff Hogg III. For winning the second Power of Veto, he won a trip for 2 to Fiji.

Jack Matthews and other members of Gr8ful tried to make Sam think he was part of their alliance. However, Isabella “Bella” Wang decided to tell him the truth, that he was just a tag along and number 9 in an 8-person alliance. This set Sam against Gr8ful and he wanted them gone, especially Jack. He was also in the HOH room when the Gr8ful alliance bullied Nicole Anthony in week 3 but was one of the least vocal members.

As a result of Nicole’s perceived misdeeds, Gr8ful became Unde9able with the addition of Sam. However, Sam, Nick, and Bella were later blindsided that week by their former allies when Cliff was evicted instead of their target, Nicole.

After Holly Allen won HOH in week 5, Sam was nominated alongside his ally, Nick Maccarone. Nick was the target, but he escaped the block by winning the Power of Veto. Kathryn “Kat” Dunn was named the replacement nominee in an attempt to throw people off the scent of Holly’s relationship with her. After a crazy whirlwind of events right before the live eviction, Sam was evicted in a 9-0 vote.

Sam’s worst moves of Big Brother 21

Sam’s worst move was not getting in a true alliance. Gr8ful tried to make Sam think he was part of their group but as he found out he was number 9 in an 8-person alliance. When Unde9able formed, 6 members of that alliance broke off and blindsided him, Nick, and Bella. In Big Brother, it is very difficult to make it far without a true alliance and Sam found that out first-hand.
