5 shows to watch on Acorn TV in November 2019 (plus everything arriving)
2. Balthazar
I always try to look out for a foreign language series that is worth your time and that is often overlooked in a long list of shows and movies. Acorn TV brings Balthazar on Nov. 25, a French drama from 2018. Raphaël Balthazar, played by Tomer Sisley, is a foresnic pathologist able to make the dead speak in ways that nobody else can. His new police commander, Hélène Bach (Hélène de Fougerolles), needs to figure out how to collaborate with his brilliant mind.
If you love the likes of Mindhunter and Criminal Minds, Balthazar is certainly a must. All six episodes will be available at the end of the month.
1. Slings & Arrows
There’s only one show that can go on the top of the list for the month. Rachel McAdams and Luke Kirby star in Slings & Arrows and you just can’t miss it. The great thing is the first season is already available on Acorn TV right now.
All six episodes are available, focusing on the backstage sehnanigans of a troubled theater company. They decide to take on a production of Hamlet, and you just know how all that is going to turn out, right?
The second and third seasons will be on their way in the future, with Season 2 dropping at the end of this month and Season 3 coming in December. Now is your perfect chance to fall in love with the cult-favorite series.
