2020 TV return dates: All the network TV midseason return dates to know
FOX
FOX announced that its midseason schedule will start during the first week of January with Flirty Dancing. Last Man Standing returns after being benched due to the sports-heavy Thursday and Friday in the fall season.
Meanwhile, the 9-1-1 spinoff, 9-1-1: Lone Star, will get a two-night premiere event. It all kicks off on Jan. 19, before moving to the regular Monday night the day after. Only Prodigal Son is being held until the end of January out of the returning shows by the looks of the lineup. However, like CBS, the network has really only shared the premiere dates of new shows coming in January.
Some shows are being held until February. New comedy, Outmatched, will premiere after three weeks of back-to-back episodes of Last Man Standing. However, Deputy, a new drama, will begin at the start of January.
Meanwhile, Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back will premiere after The Resident in January. The remaining episodes of Empire‘s final season are being held for later in the year.
