4. Is Maddy able to fully move on?

Maddy finally admitted that she was unable to forgive herself for killing her husband. It was in self-defense, but that doesn’t change her feelings. In the 9-1-1 fall finale, she even received a check for the assets that she got from her husband’s death. But, as she said, it felt like blood money.

Throughout the episode, we watched as Maddy found a way to forgive herself. Her therapist encouraged her to face the place that he died, giving her a chance to apologize for loving him too much and for not dying with him. But she’s not going to give him any more of her time or mental energy.

Is this is? Will Maddy fully move on from her past and now focus on a brighter future? Let’s hope so!

3. Is Eddie really past all the rage?

For a few episodes, we got a focus on Eddie’s anger issues. He was full of rage after everything that had happened, but he was finally caught out. Lena told Bobby about the illegal fight club. What happened to what goes on in fight club stays in fight club? Okay, so Lena wasn’t a part of it, so she gets a pass.

Eddie went to therapy and it seems to have worked. He’s a happier person, trying to make the best for Christopher with the entire situation. But is this really it?

Honestly, it seems like he’s through the rage a little too quickly. Anger doesn’t just disappear and people don’t just instantly use other tools to deal with it. Will we see something pop up in a later point of the season?
