6. Hawk

Hawk has gone through probably one of the biggest changes in Titans’ second year. For example, the costumed fighter has relapsed and meanwhile becomes a reputable cage fighter after the unpleasant breakup with Dove.

Hawk went through bouts of self-destruction, with most of his scenes depicting some noteworthy lows of one’s struggles. It was a nice showing given his changes after the first season and there were moments where he was a crueler version of himself. Hawk is easily one of the more interesting characters in Titans, so hopefully, we can get to see him regain some of the Hawk we knew, but in a more evolved, self-aware way.

5. Dove

In Titan’s first season, I wasn’t exactly feeling like Dove was given enough opportunity to shine, but the second season picked up the pace. Dove went through struggles in her relationship and because that is both romantic and “work” based, there was a more complicated role for the hero.

As the team needed to reunite, she teamed up with Donna Troy and played a pivotal role in reuniting the Titans. We can only assume that because of the death of Donna, Dove will be experiencing guilt over the accident so it’ll be a different Dove when the series returns in 2020.

4. Donna Troy

Donna Troy was introduced and the end of the freshman season and her role left a lot of ambiguity. With her position elevating her to a regular in season two, Donna rapidly became one of the standouts of the Titans.

As mentioned earlier, her partnership with both Dove and Starfire at one point showcased her on-screen chemistry with other Titans and a great deal of backstory. Troy’s vengeance for Deathstroke was one of the fleshed-out developments and it was a great decision to make her more hands-on. The somewhat confusing downfall of Donna was unfortunate on several levels, so with a glimmer of hope, we will stay positive that Donna comes back stronger than ever.
