5. The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show (2019)

Kacey Musgraves is perhaps the latest true country-pop diva. Her remarkable songwriting and performing talents have conquered audiences not only in the American music scene but also around the world, garnering both commercial and critical acclaim in the process.

Her charismatic presence also makes her perfect for the TV format. With this in mind, she embarked in an ambitious new project: A Christmas show, mostly in the vein of those old-time holiday specials that were omnipresent in the 60s and 70s—several of them by country stars of the time.

In The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show, she performs both originals and holiday standards, aided by a star-studded cast of collaborators, including late-show host James Corden, pop star Camila Cabello, comedy giant Fred Armisen, and highlight duets with Lana del Rey and Leon Bridges. Yes, we know the Holiday season is mostly over, but if you want to relive the spirit or just watch a great music variety show, be sure to check this one out.
