New Amsterdam Season 2, Episode 12 will see a miraculous recovery but a case that leaves the doctors worried. Here’s how to watch the episode live and what to expect during it.
The title “14 Years, 2 Months, 8 Days” related to the coma patient. He’s been in the coma for that length of time, but his wife has always been by his side. We don’t get to know how he went into the coma during the promo, but I’m sure we’ll get the full story throughout the episode. And I’m sure that it’s going to leave us in tears, whether happy or sad.

There is a hint that the coma patient is going to make a miraculous recovery. The time out has given the body a chance to recover, but will we get the happy ending this story clearly deserves?

I do wonder whether this storyline is going to connect to another one during the episode. There’s a young patient with symptoms of a heart attack. Is it possible that this patient needs a heart transplant and the coma patient is going to end up waking just to say goodbye?
Then there’s Sharpe’s storyline, who has an important realization that will have an impact on her career. During the previous episode, she finally understood why Max does all that he does. She got the rush in helping people and she wants more of it.
However, there’s still a lot happening with her position in the hospital. Dr. Castro is now running the whole oncology department, which could cause huge problems for Sharpe. On top of that, we know deep down that Castro had something to do with Sharpe getting arrested and getting demoted.
