The Turning is one of those horror movies you may want to wait to come to a streaming service. Will it be on Netflix? Amazon Prime? Where will it stream?

The Turning isn’t doing well with reviews, but that doesn’t mean you don’t want to check it out for yourself. You’ll want to know where you can stream The Turning.

Will you be able to watch on Netflix? How about on Amazon Prime?

Sadly, the horror movie won’t be on either of these streaming services. Instead, you’ll need to get HBO, which is where the majority of Universal Pictures movies head to for streaming. You’ll need to wait a while, though. It usually takes at least six months for movies to head to the streamer, but it can take eight to nine months.

If you’re ready to watch it for free, we’re looking at around probably September or October 2020. This is worth it if you’re just not sure what to expect.

After all, The Turning isn’t exactly getting the greatest reviews. Both audiences and critics have rated it rotten at 13% on Rotten Tomatoes. Those who love the novel, The Turn of the Screw, haven’t found it as great, mostly due to the ending. In fact, if you haven’t read the source material before watching, you’ll want to when it comes to the end of the movie.

Mackenzie Davis stars as Kate Mandell, a nanny who takes a job at a Gothic mansion in Maine. She’s supposed to be looking after one young orphan, but then her older brother returns unexpectedly from boarding school. That’s when the ghostly fun beings.
