Fallon and Liam’s explosive engagement party on Dynasty reveals Dominique’s master plan, blows up Cristal’s hit on Alexis, and throws Falliam a twist.

Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. Two episodes on Dynasty, Fallon attempted to buy a house in order to set down roots and have a family with Liam in the future… but he doesn’t want kids. Ironically, Heidi and the son she never put up for adoption arrive to unsettle couple right before their engagement party, which finds sex tapes leaked, black SUVs exploded, and a twist ending that Falliam certainly never saw coming.

From powerful to powerless, we’re ranking Carrington manor’s best and brightest on their quest for control. Here’s how the power struggle stacked up in the latest episode of Dynasty Season 3. (Warning: Spoilers ahead!)

1. Adam?

Well, would you look at that. Color us all shocked. Who knew Adam had it in him? Even though Blake tries to win back Adam’s loyalties with some scotch and an invite back into the manor, Adam sees Blake’s request to sabotage Jeff’s supposed blackmail and raises him a spot on the hospital board. But that’s not all. Adam decides to switch sides and double crosses Blake. Now the chances of Blake getting CA back are slim, Adam has an in at the hospital, and he covered his tracks with Jeff’s poisoning.

2. Dominique

Adam wasn’t the only one doing some dirty work this week. Dominique uses her video of Cristal “cheating” to get Vanessa a room at the manor and singed to Fallon’s label THEN releases her sex tape with Culhane to sell House of Devereaux. You know that saying, “The devil works hard, but Kris Jenner works harder”? You’ve never seen a momager work as hard as Dominique. She committed her reputation to infamy in order to get Vanessa trending on Twitter and a foot in the pop music door.

3. Fallon

We see you, Fallon Carrington, wearing the same dress as Katy Perry! Unfortunately, slaying in the same dress as KP and dogging on John Mayer (ironically Perry’s ex) was about all the power Fallon had this week. Oddly, Fallon’s unfazed when Liam arrives with Heidi and his son, Connor (while she’s wearing lingerie, no less). But she dutifully offers Heidi money, assuming that’s what she’s after. As Liam spends more time with Connor, Fallon’s anxiety/jealousy/insecurity flares up and causes her to interfere. Well, she better keep at those stepmothering skills: Heidi skipped town and left Connor behind.

4. Cristal

So close, but no cigar. Cristal’s hired hitman cancels their plans to blow up Alexis’ car at the engagement party when she fesses up that Dominique caught them together. He can’t follow through when someone could pick him out of a lineup. Naturally, Cristal calls Beto, her brother, to do the job. He tries to talk her out of it, but he actually agrees to just go ahead and kill Alexis rather easily. Like… okay? While putting the bomb under the “new black SUV,” Beto notices two identical cars. Cristal doesn’t immediately respond with the license plate, and he guesses wrong… very wrong.

5. Anyone but Blake!

*insert long laugh here*

Next. 7 shows to watch while waiting for Dynasty Season 3 to return. dark

Honorable Mentions:

  • Beto doesn’t die in the explosion, but his assurance that the authorities won’t trace the crime back to them was foreshadowing, right? We’re either never going to hear about this again, or Cristal’s about to be the one on trial for attempted murder.
  • Kirby was mysteriously absent from her best frenemy’s engagement party, and Sam’s story was on the back burner in favor of helping Fallon plan the party. No updates here!
  • Will Fallon and Liam formally adopt Connor, or will they try and try and try to track down Heidi? Surely, if the Carringtons can find Kirby’s cult, they can track down Heidi.
