Trolls 3: Are the Trolls getting another sequel?

With the success of Trolls World Tour, will DreamWorks Animation give audiences a Trolls 3? Here’s what we know about a potential sequel.

The original Trolls 2016 pleasantly surprised audiences. The movie features a star-studded cast, amazing songs, fun beats, and colorful characters. The sequel, Trolls World Tour is just as fun, with an important message to go along with it. Will there be a Trolls 3?

Let’s put this out there first and foremost! Parents love the Trolls movies! It’s all thanks to the music that we don’t mind watching the movies over (and over) again. We are familiar with the beats, they bring us all the nostalgia feels and even remind us of the music we used to know. The stories are also always fun and very family-friendly, with enough appropriate jokes only adults understand.

Though we’re not sure how well Trolls World Tour performed via VOD (numbers and data are still being added up), it’s almost a safe bet that we’ll be getting another sequel! We’ll be sure to keep you posted on the final numbers, of course, as well as news about a third sequel.

If Trolls 3 does happen, would you like to see Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) take on another adventure? Or would you prefer a spin-off that follows another tribe of Trolls? Meeting the other musical Trolls was so much fun, I wouldn’t mind learning more about King Trollex’s world or even the fun mix of the Funk Trolls!
