The Change-Up (2011)

Mitch (Ryan Reynolds) and Dave (Jason Bateman) are two pals with very different lives in The Change-Up. Dave has a wife and kids and is busy with the tedious everyday responsibilities of parenthood. Meanwhile, Mitch is a carefree guy who does what he wants and has no commitments as serious as marriage in his life at the moment.

The two chums mockingly make a wish to exchange lives, and it comes true! Be careful what you wish for, though. Now, Mitch is Dave and Dave is Mitch. Mitch now has the wife and kids in Dave’s body, which means his life is about to get complicated. Meanwhile, Dave has no responsibilities in Mitch’s body, so this is the time to get some needed relaxation.

With nobody who would believe this yearning came true, the two chums decide to go about life as the other, which ends up being a hilarious disaster as they have no clue on how to do so. Watch as Mitch tries to deal with the effects of parenthood while Dave hysterically tries to adjust to life as a responsibility-free man with nothing holding him back! However, if they do want to change back,  can the two even do it again?!

The Change-Up also stars Alan Arkin, Leslie Mann, Olivia Wilde, and Mircea Monroe.
