4. Murphy, Jess, & Felix decide on a new business.

As part of their money-laundering plan, the trio needs to come up with another form of money to cover up the cash flow they got from Nia.

They decide to use Max’s old truck and repaint it, turning it into an on-the-go grooming station for service dogs. We don’t get to see the business up and running yet, but it was fun to watch Jess and Murphy work on painting it.

3. New love interests are revealed.

When we spoke with showrunner Corinne Kingsbury last week about In the Dark Season 2, she revealed that all the main characters would be getting new love interests this season, including Felix and Jess. While we haven’t met Murphy’s love interest, it does look like we’ve met both Felix and Jess’s new romantic partners. Technically, we already knew Chelsea, but she and Felix have some adorable interactions this week.

Felix mistakenly thinks Chelsea saw him reading a book about how to give women a six-hour orgasm. In reality, she saw the Sisterhood of Traveling Pants book he picked up at the store while shopping for money laundering books. It is totally in character for Felix to love those books, he tells her he’s a Lena fan and it seems like the two will meet up for drinks later that night.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to imagine their relationship lasting since we know that Felix will ultimately have a hand in her brother’s death.

As for Jess, she gets tongue-tied over a gorgeous new interviewee at Guiding Hope. The two only share a brief scene together but we can’t wait to see more of them!
