Fall 2020 schedule: Your full fall TV guide on the broadcast networks
Wednesdays
Not much is changing for many networks on Wednesday nights. Even FOX is managing to find a way to keep its schedule the same.
Since releasing the initial schedule, The CW made some changes to its plans. It acquired the Patrick Dempsey series Devils, which was placed into the Wednesday night schedule. Originally, Two-Sentence Horror Stories and Dead Pixels were going to air one episode each in an hour, but the former is moved to Sundays and the latter is moved to the summer months.
ABC will have its one night of comedies on Wednesdays. black-ish Season 7 was originally missed out of the comedy schedule and was going to be held for the midseason. That changed a day later, when ABC decided black-ish was necessary in the fall and freshman comedy Call Your Mother could wait.

Thursdays
Thursdays in the fall 2020 schedule are going to look very much like the previous falls. The only real change is The Outpost is airing on The CW, which is usually a summer show. Supernatural gets to air seven episodes of its final season still, so that will take us up to the winter break.
The big change is that NBC has knocked down its comedies to just two a week. This arguably isn’t surprising with comedies struggling consistently the last few years.
FOX will air Thursday Night Football. Of course, this means the season has to be able to start.
