The CW fall 2020 schedule is here and it very different from what we’re used to.

The CW has become the second network to unveil its plans for the fall, and TV is looking different from what we’re used to. Here’s a full look at The CW fall 2020 schedule.

There’s only one TV show that we’re used to watching in the fall. Supernatural Season 15 will return. The network will air the five episodes that had filmed but hadn’t been through postproduction when the season was put on hold. There are still two more episodes to come but they can’t happen until filming can resume. There’s hope that the final episodes will film during the summer or late fall to allow the show to finish up with one run.

The good news is Supernatural is back on Thursday nights. Walker, Texas Range with Jared Padalecki is going to take over that timeslot in 2021.

More from CW

As for the rest of The CW fall 2020 schedule, it’s mostly made up of acquisitions and shows that we usually watch in the summer months. Pandora Season 2 and Outpost Season 3 are among the list of shows returning in the fall. They don’t tend to get a large amount of live views, which is why they’re often held for the summer. However, the coronavirus pandemic means the usual suspects can’t film so need to be held for next year.

Two Sentence Horror Stories will also take up a slot in the fall, which is perfect for the acquisition of Dead Pixels from the UK. Both shows are half-hour shows so they can air in one hour-long timeslot. Coroner, acquired from Canadian network CBC, will air in the hour after the two shows.

As expected, Swamp Thing and Tell Me a Story will run back-to-back on Tuesdays. It will be interesting to see how the ratings fare to see if both shows will be renewed off the back of this.

As for the usual shows, TVLine tells us that they’re being held for January 2021.
