What We Do In The Shadows: 6 most unforgettable guest stars
The top guests are talented and funny, making their roles especially wonderful
The last two guest stars are easily the best ones featured on What We Do In The Shadows yet. It might be their larger-than-life presence but their talent really shines through. First up is Beanie Feldstein as Jenna. We meet Jenna in Season 1 as the “prey” of the vampires until she befriends Najda. Upon feeling bad for her, Najda decides to turn her into a vampire and the rest is history.
While she had a significant role in Season 1, Jenna didn’t appear in Season 2. Maybe it’s due to Beanie Feldstein’s rise in popularity. However, her role in Season 1 was unforgettable. We can only hope that she makes another appearance in later seasons. There’s no way the show would introduce her and then get rid of her so quickly. Either way, it would be awesome to see Beanie reprise her role and have Jenna take back a little bit of her power.
The number one spot on the list has to go to Mark Hamill. Hamill guest-starred in Season 2’s “On the Run” as Jim The Vampire and wants to kill Lazlo over money. Lazlo evades him before the two eventually run into each other again. It’s so odd to see Mark Hamill dressed as a vampire but he really gives his all to the role. The best part of it has to be his voice as he gives himself an accent.
Eventually, Lazlo and Jim are able to set aside their differences with Jim settling in Pennsylvania as a “replacement” for Lazlo. It’s unclear if he’ll reprise his role at some point. Either way, the small role he did have was great. It’s unclear who decided to cast him but it was a brilliant move. We can only hope that Jim The Vampire decides to reappear again at some point.
