Would Disney be willing to risk releasing Deadpool uncensored on Disney Plus
Deadpool is the crass hero that is in direct contrast to a myriad of other Marvel heroes and vigilantes. While many know him for his comic book days, plenty of others know him from the Ryan Reynolds-led film adaptation.
Who can blame you if you never heard of him before? The film highlighted many of the absurdities the hero is iconic for. From talking to himself to the less-than-child-friendly humor.
With the uncensored release of X-Men: Days of Future Past to Disney Plus and its inclusion of Hugh Jackman’s rear, could we see this same treatment for the Merc with a Mouth? While I wish we have a definitive answer, we won’t know until Disney finally decides to launch the Marvel franchise to Disney Plus, which they haven’t shown any interest in doing so.

The family-first mentality is strong with Disney Plus, which saw X-Men as the first movie to feature the F-word uncensored on the streaming platform.
Could Disney get away with releasing Deadpool on Disney Plus?
In my humble opinion, I think they could. Deadpool (along with Deadpool 2) is already rated R even with the precautions they took to not go overboard, meaning if you’re a parent putting this on with your young kid, you know some uncomfortable stuff will be on screen.
If they are to put it on their service, it will be noticed and enjoyed most likely. I know I would probably hop back on my Disney Plus to rewatch his solo live film debut. It isn’t even like the fans are alone, even Reynolds himself has entertained the idea.

The final word is up to Disney, though, and it’s up to them if they ever want to bring us an uncensored look at Marvel’s Regenerating Degenerate. It’s all too possible since they’re going about releasing movies uncensored, but it’s also possible this was a one-off thing.
