New Netflix shows and movies to watch this weekend: Aug. 7-9

Selling Sunset season 3 streams Friday, Aug. 7: If the first two seasons hooked you with all the drama, you haven’t seen anything yet! The third season of Selling Sunset has twice as many scandals and fights. Because, let’s be honest, here, the main reason we watch the reality series is for the drama!
With quarantine and social distancing going on, we need all the drama we can get as these are very boring times. Why not live through Selling Sunset?
Selling Sunset season 3 will feature Chrishell Stause’s divorce with This Is Us star Justin Hartley, Christine Quinn’s glamorous wedding, and plenty of fights between the ladies of The Oppenheim Group. So much has been reported about Chrishell and Justin’s divorce, it’ll be interesting to see how it all went down.
World’s Most Wanted season 1 premiered on Wednesday, Aug. 5: This documentary dropped on Netflix earlier this week, but we’re including it here for many reasons. For starters, with The Umbrella Academy and other bigger debuts, World’s Most Wanted may have been overlooked. Another reason is that, with this premiering in the middle of the week, we haven’t all had time to watch.
I haven’t tuned in to see World’s Most Wanted, but I do plan to this weekend as it seems to be right up my alley. The streaming titan has proved many times how well it produces documentaries, so I’m very interested in watching this one.
World’s Most Wanted follows the global investigations of some of the most heinous criminals in history who have avoided capture. Five will be featured in season 1.
