New Netflix shows and movies to watch this weekend: Aug. 7-9

High Seas season 3 premieres Friday, Aug. 7: If you have never watched High Seas, where have you been? It’s already on season 3! Lucky for you, you are never too late thanks to Netflix having all previous seasons ready for you to stream. Also, season 4 is in development so there’s more to come!
The Spanish mystery series follows sisters Eva and Carolina Villanueva as they travel on a cruise and find themselves solving a series of mysterious deaths that occur while at sea. Season 3 sees their reunion on the Barbara de Braganza, the ship, as they board in Buenos Aires to Veracruz.
A new mystery follows them and this new threat is willing to kill anyone who gets in their way. All aboard!
Work It streams Friday, Aug. 7: Netflix isn’t all about new shows this weekend, there are also interesting movies out, mainly Work It. If you have been wanting to watch a movie that’ll have you dancing, Work It on Netflix is your jam.
Early reviews for the movie share that, while watching it is a lot of fun, it’s not a very memorable feature. But hey, I can live with that! As long as it entertains us for a moment, it’s all good.
Work It follows Quinn Ackerman (Sabrina Carpenter) learning to dance after learning that to get into the college she wants, she’ll need to win a dance competition.
