New Netflix movies and shows to watch Aug. 14-16

Rita season 5

The Danish comedy-drama is one of Netflix’s biggest hidden gems! Yes, it’s already on season 5 and we bet you haven’t heard about it! Let’s end that now and binge-watch the series over the weekend. This is your homework. Rita follows Rita Madsen (Mille Dinesen) a single mother who works as a teacher with unconventional methods. You’ll want to get to know her!

Stranger season 2

Not to be confused with the other Netflix series, The Stranger, Stranger is very different. The South Korean crime-drama follows Cho Seung-woo and Bae Doone as a prosecutor and detective duo are team up often to solve murder cases. If you love murder mysteries and enjoy surprises, you’ll love Stranger. Stream the latest season on Saturday, Aug. 15.
