8. Gremlins

A Christmas movie from the 80s is next on the list. Yes, Gremlins is a Christmas movie. It’s set at Christmas, so, therefore, it’s a Christmas movie. Don’t argue with me!

This is one to watch with the kids. It follows a teenager who is given a creature to look after. There are some simple rules to follow, including not getting Gizmo wet or feeding him after midnight. Well, of course, this teenager doesn’t follow the rules.

What happens? Only a bunch of Gremlins end up on the loose. It’s up to the teenager to save the city from these creatures.

7. Mrs. Doubtfire

Another movie to watch with the family is a classic Robin Williams movie. Mrs. Doubtfire is hilarious and heartfelt at the same time. It really is one of the strongest Williams movies you’ll ever watch.

Williams plays a dad who has separated with his wife. He just wants to spend time with his kids, but his life and his home isn’t suitable. When his ex starts looking for someone to be his kids’ nanny, he decides to dress up as Mrs. Doubtfire, a lovely Scottish widow who only wants the best for the three kids.

What could possibly go wrong? Nobody is going to learn the truth, right?
