Two more 90 Day Fiance spin-off shows potentially in the works
TLC may add two more 90 Day Fiance spin-off shows to the franchise
What do you do when you find a TV franchise that is working? Add more to it, right? That’s something TLC is considering with the 90 Day Fiance franchise.
Right now, there are 10 different versions of the 90 Day Fiance franchise. It all started with one show looking at couples who have 90 days to get married in the United States on a fiance visa to growing into looking at relationships working the other way, the story after the wedding, and more.

Now, TLC is looking at potentially adding one or two more shows to the franchise, according to Deadline. However, this isn’t set in stone. The last thing the network wants to do is saturate the market and go past that tipping point of entertainment.
There were no details on what these spin-offs would be. The series has moved on from the original format, with spin-offs including past stars watching and commenting on current episodes and the latest Darcey and Stacey spin-off.
Moving on from the K1 visa process
The show originally started as a look into the K1 visa process in the United States. This is also known as the fiance visa process, where a foreigner is required to marry the U.S. citizen petitioner within 90 days of entry or they will need to leave the United States.
During that time, the non-U.S. citizen isn’t allowed to work. It can be a huge strain on relationships, which is something the show has always offered.
Since then, the show has looked at other relationships. Some of them had nothing to do with imminent marriage, while others have looked at life the other way, with U.S. citizens looking to live with their partners in other countries.
However, while the franchise is popular, the spin-offs won’t happen for the sake of them. They need to have something unique and extraordinary about them.
Right now, there are two shows potentially in the works. That could be it for the time being, unless something jaw-dropping comes along.
