There’s only one place to start. I know many of you probably expected Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but it’s all about Supernatural. And this is linked to our lead actress, Melanie Scrofano.

Back when she was just starting out in her career, she got a guest spot on one of the most popular episodes of the series, “What Is and What Should Never Be.” She plays the ghostly girl that pops up in Dean’s wish world.

However, there are many other reasons to check out the series because of your love of Wynonna and her family. Both shows have some similar beliefs about family and how it’s not all about blood. Sure, Wynonna will always protect Waverly, but Doc, Nicole, and many others have become important members of the family.

And there is the bond between Waverly and Wynonna. Sam and Dean have a very similar bond, although they’re a little too codependent.

We can’t forget about the supernatural elements. Both shows have plenty of demons and creatures that the leads have to battle. One of the ways they battle on Wynonna Earp is with the special gun, Peacemaker, which is similar to the Colt Sam and Dean use to kill demons.

There are 15 seasons of the show. Well, there will be when the final seven episodes air from Oct. 8, 2020. This is ending on its own terms, so the final season has been written as that.
