Live from Jennifer Aniston’s house, it’s an awesome reunion at the Emmys!

Even from a socially safe distance, the 2020 Emmys turned out to be a star-studded night to remember. And today, people are still talking about how it all went down last night, for more reasons than one.

Among the plethora of TV stars who “showed up” to the award show, a few iconic Friends stars (turned lifelong friends) were in attendance as well. According to Us Weekly, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow momentarily stole the show with a televised reunion of their own. And the fans are here for it!

If you missed the three ladies together during the Emmys, watch the clip below:

Seeing Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe together definitely reignited (or simply revved up) everyone’s over-a-decade desire for the long-awaited cast reunion special the fans were once promised. As Us Weekly points out, the wait might not be much longer for the announced unscripted project.

HBO Max already confirmed that an official Friends reunion special is indeed in the making, turning those 15-year-long TV dreams into reality in the somewhat near future. However, with all COVID-19 related delays considered, it’s not clear right now when it’s going to happen. Postponed dates aside, the reunion seems like it’s definitely still in the works.

Of the highly-anticipated project, Courteney Cox has said, “We’re going to have the best time. It’s going to be great. We really haven’t all done that and actually sat there and talked about and reminisced about this incredible experience that we had. … It’s going to be fantastic.”

Until that fateful and “fantastic” day, we’ve now been blessed with Kudrow, Cox, and Aniston’s reunion thanks to the Emmys, giving fans a televised taste of what’s to come and most notably, the bond these cast mates have cultivated over the years.

In a live exchange with Jimmy Kimmel last night, all three actresses trickled into the frame one by one. Kudrow came in last and asked, “Is this live TV?” That’s so Phoebe, right?

The talk show host responded, “Unbelievable! Lisa Kudrow, you live there, too?” The hilarious quips continued from there, and fans will keep rewatching the adorable moment until the real TV reunion comes.
