Vet costs are high around the world. It’s something all pet owners should take into account when getting a new pet, and there are insurances around to help cover the costs. But financial hardship can affect people at any point in life, and pets shouldn’t suffer because of that.
Plus, insurance doesn’t cover everything. As the owner of two mischievous, Houdini huskies, I know!
Dr. Jeff’s free clinic is important to the residents
During the sneak peek below, we get to see why this free clinic that Dr. Jeff runs is so important. He does this for the good of the animals, getting out to places that don’t necessarily have access to vets. It turns out that this area in particular doesn’t even have a local vet clinic! The nearest one is 65 miles away!
You can see from the amount of people in the clinic that this is an important part of the community. We love Dr. Jeff for this.

This episode will see some heartbreaking injuries. One young cat has had her leg crushed and needs immediate help. A French Bulldog has eaten a toy and needs to pass it before emergency surgery. There’s also a rescue dog, Koda, who needs a new home.
