It’s time for the Winchesters to deal with Death on the next Supernatural

“The plan has changed,” that’s what Billy says in the latest Supernatural promo for the third to last episode of the series. And boy, she’s not exaggerating.

The plan had been for Jack to essentially become a nuclear bomb for greater beings. In sacrificing himself, he would take out Chuck and Amara in the process. However, it didn’t sit right with Sam and he fought to keep Jack from entering the room that would destroy him.

The scenes from last week’s episode were intense, especially with Dean pulling a gun on his brother. Dean’s desperation for Team Free Will runs so deep that he was willing to go through Sam. Yet, Dean didn’t realize it was all orchestrated by Chuck, and Dean fell right into his hands again.

The problem now is Chuck has gotten away, Jack is still a ticking time bomb, and they have learned Billy wants to take all the power for herself. She wants to put everything back to the way it supposed to be without divine intervention, which means the Winchesters stay dead, Castiel goes back to Heaven and Jack never exists.

Well, that’s a lot of things that our Fab Four would like to avoid. While Chuck is still in play, the most pressing matter is Billy. They have to take care of her and bring in AU Bobby and Charlie to help.

Supernatural Season 15, Episode 18 looks to be filled with action and intrigue. Although, fittingly it’s called “Despair” and it certainly seems there isn’t a lot of hope left that the Winchesters are going to pull through and defeat Chuck.

Instead, they’ll go down in a blaze of glory and take down Death in the process if they have to.
