10. All the Money in the World

Original Release Date: December 25, 2017

Box Office Earnings: All the Money in the World grossed in $25.1 million in domestic profits, international profits of $31.8 million for a collective worldwide total of $56.9 million.

Critical Reception: The film achieved reasonable ratings from the critics via Rotten Tomatoes with a rating of 80% and an audience score rating of 65%. All the Money in the World received 15 award nominations, but unfortunately, it did not win any awards.

Simply the best: Wahlberg plays adviser Fletcher Chase, and his character is based on a real-life former C.I.A. spy. He is not the main star of the movie; Christopher Plummer is. Plummer brings this true story to life in a compelling and absorbing way.

9. Lone Survivor

Original Release Date: December 25, 2013

Box Office Earnings: Lone Survivor brought in $125.1 million in the domestic market and $24.7 million in the international market for a worldwide box office earning of $149.8 million.

Critical Reception: The movie received a 75% critics rating and an 87% audience score rating via Rotten Tomatoes. Lone Survivor surprisingly only received 16 nominations, and six award wins. Wahlberg secured one award in the Best Actor in an Action Movie (Critics Choice Award) at the Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards 2014.

Simply the best: Wahlberg plays Marcus Luttrell, who is the main character in Lone Survivor. The movie closely resembles the true story of Operation Red Wings. Luttrell is the lone survivor of Operation Red Wings, an ill-fated mission to take out Taliban leader Ahmad Shahd in Afghanistan circa June 2005.
