Chelsea Houska has a COVID-19 scare while pregnant in new Teen Mom 2 episode

Chelsea Houska is expressing her fears in the latest episode of Teen Mom 2.

Tuesday’s episode, as noted by Meaww, included a major scare for Chelsea and her husband, Cole DeBoer. The mom-of-three is currently expecting her fourth child, and learned that Cole was having pretty serious symptoms that led them to believe he could’ve contracted COVID-19.

In a clip from the show, which you can see below, Chelsea explains how worried she is about her health while pregnant. We also get to see Cole driving in the car, recalling how he woke up feeling very sick and decided to call his doctor. From there, we see him go to a drive-thru and have a COVID-19 test administered from his car. “I’m pretty sure they touched my f**king brain,” he said.

Since there haven’t been any reports since this episode was filmed of Chelsea or Cole testing positive for coronavirus, I believe they were in the clear. However, that doesn’t mean the risky situation they were in wasn’t awfully scary.

“I am concerned about getting COVID during my pregnancy,” Chelsea Houska says in the clip. “That would probably be the thing I’m most anxious about.”

Since announcing her pregnancy via Instagram in August, Chelsea has been very open about her experience this time around. She and Cole are parents to Layne Ettie DeBoer and Watson Cole DeBoer. Chelsea shares her first child, Aubree Skye Lind-DeBoer, with her ex-boyfriend Adam Lind. Aubree has taken both Adam and Cole’s last names, and Cole has expressed a desire to officially adopt her.

I think most Teen Mom fans can agree that Chelsea and Cole have an adorable family, and we’re glad they’re currently healthy and happy. Going to get a COVID-19 test was certainly the safest move for Cole to make in the most recent episode.
