Who is Sydney Sweeney dating? The Immaculate and Euphoria star’s relationship status

Sydney Sweeney is probably best known for her role as Cassie Howard on HBO’s Euphoria, but this 26-year-old star has a pretty impressive acting resume on top of that. She’s also appeared in acclaimed shows such as The Handmaid’s Tale and Sharp Objects, as well as films like the Academy Award winner Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Most recently, Sweeney stars in Immaculate, a horror thriller she helped produce. Needless to say, Sweeney knows how to pick parts.

With multiple projects in the works, Sweeney will also appear in season 3 of Euphoria, which is aiming for a release date sometime in 2025. Additionally, the star has two upcoming films, Echo Valley (currently in post-production) and Eden (filming).

“I can’t really talk about any of the scripts, but they’re amazing,” Sweeney told NME about season 2. “Cassie definitely goes through the wringer again. I know what happens [to her] but I don’t want to give it away.” As fans get to watch the new episode of the Zendaya-led show, people might be wondering what Sydney Sweeney’s dating status is in real life. In the series, she dates the character Chris McKay (played by Algee Smith), but what about outside of Euphoria?

Yes! Well, no. Technically, Sydney Sweeney has a fiance! That's right, the actress has been engaged to Jonathan Davino since 2022. According to some digging from People, Davino and Sweeney are still going strong in 2024.

There's a lot of mystery surrounding Sweeney's fiance. Speaking with Glamour UK, Sweeney denied rumors that Davino is a restaurateur. She also shared that Davino is NOT the heir of a pizza company. Still, Sweeney did not offer much of an answer as to what Davino does do for work.

Is Sydney Sweeney bisexual?

After the PDA photos of Sweeney and Davino hit the internet, fans quickly began freaking out. The actress then caused a buzz once again after she insinuated she might be bisexual on Twitter. When one person tweeted out, “Sydney Sweeney has a man… thanksgiving cancelled,” the Euphoria star responded with a photo of her and another girl, writing, “baby girl go have a feast. your girl at prom ;).”
